Inek, a distinguished company from the Canary Islands, is not just about cooperation; it's about fostering meaningful collaborations with various NGOs on an international scale.
Drawing inspiration from the Guanche dialect, the term "Inek" is derived from "Inekaren", symbolizing "Independence." However, this independence transcends territorial boundaries, delving deeper into the essence of individual autonomy and self-realization.
Challenges and Objectives
- Challenge: Inek's mission is profound, aiming to evoke the spirit of independence and the power of cooperation. The challenge lay in encapsulating this ethos into a brand identity that would resonate with its core values and the communities it serves.
- Solution: our design journey with Inek was deeply introspective. We conceptualized a logo that combined the stability of a pyramid with an inverted peak, symbolizing the potential to redefine power structures. This design element serves as a reminder that true power lies in the hands of individuals, and collectively, they form the foundation of societal systems. Complementing this symbolism, the orange circle in the logo signifies a new dawn, drawing inspiration from Teide, Spain's majestic volcano and peak.
- Result: the resultant brand identity for Inek was not just a visual representation but a narrative of change, empowerment, and a call to action. The logo became a symbol of Inek's commitment to fostering independence and driving positive societal transformations.
