Challenges and Objectives

1. Challenge: many NGOs, especially those in rural areas, are dedicated to uplifting communities through vocational training. Traditional methods like in-person instruction can be resource-intensive and don't always scale well. Additionally, introducing technology presents its own challenges, particularly for individuals encountering digital platforms for the first time or for those not familiar with reading and writing.
2. Solution: we developed an open-source web app with an exceedingly user-friendly interface. This multi-platform solution was tailored to operate seamlessly across varied devices - even as localized as a RaspberryPI for areas with no network connection. With a focus on video-tutorials, the software was designed to be both scalable and affordable. Features such as the 'Reinvent login' ensure even those new to technology find a welcoming start. With customizable dashboards available in multiple languages, visual performance analytics, guided procedures, and a special numerical alphabet for the illiterate, we ensured that every user, irrespective of their background, would find value and empowerment.
3. Result: the platform has proven to be an effective medium to scale education, allowing NGOs to monitor progress and results in real-time. Furthermore, it has strengthened the bond between the client, the worker, and the NGO by providing close information about each worker's culture and background.
